At Global Health Labs (GH Labs), Noni Gachuhi leads our implementation work in Africa, developing strategies to effectively introduce innovations in primary healthcare systems across the continent. She also serves as Program Lead for the development of tools and technologies that strengthen women, neonatal, and child health, partnering closely with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and other key collaborators.

Prior to GH Labs, Noni was the Women and Child Health Lead at Global Good, an investment fund of Intellectual Ventures. Before that, Noni worked for Marie Stopes International in India, leading programs that increased women’s access to reproductive health services. Earlier in her career, while at Population Services International and later USAID, Noni lived and worked in Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda, and Rwanda, where she helped design, implement, and monitor public health programs for HIV/AIDS prevention, reproductive health/family planning, and malaria.

Noni earned her MPH in International Development and Evaluation from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and her BA in Women’s Studies from Temple University in Philadelphia.
