As Vice President of Special Projects at Global Health Labs (GH Labs), Sharon Bergquist manages external corporate partner relationships for a range of high-profile cross-programmatic initiatives and product development projects. She also serves as a senior liaison to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Gates Ventures, driving efforts that continuously strengthen our strategic collaborations and facilitate the impact of GH Labs as a center of excellence in Primary Healthcare Tools and Equipment.

Previously, Sharon was a Director within the Health & Life Sciences team at Gates Ventures (the private office of Bill Gates), managing an investment portfolio, partner relations, and supporting Mr. Gates in strategy reviews between Gates Ventures and the Bill &Melinda Gates Foundation. Prior to Gates Ventures, Sharon worked at the Bill& Melinda Gates Foundation, serving a range of priorities across Melinda Gates’ strategy team and managing the early childhood development initiative on the MNCH Discovery and Tools team.

Sharon earned her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of California, San Francisco and BS in Biology from the University of California, San Diego.
